the smashing pumpkins, coming up. aftermath of the fire in northeast baltimore, investigators turned up no evidence of arson. it's believed the fire started in the basement of the home. kevin cartwright says there are no signs that any accelerants may have been used to start the fire. nancy died in the fire along with now of her grandchildren after other family members left from second story windows. one appeared at the window calling out for help but chose to try to save the children in the middle of the flames. >> she didn't care. i don't think it should have happened to he or the kids. >> the survivors include her husband who jumped from a window with his clothes on fire and a 19 yield woman who had to drop her 2-month-old baby from a second floor window before

she was able to jump herself. after a shooting at perry hall high and a scare at stemmers run middle, there was another incident at a local school yesterday. two male students are charged with handgun violations after one brought ammunition to school at deer park middle school. the student got the gun from home. it was only the ammo he brought to school. >> he brought the weapon to a location, about a quarter of a mile away from the school. he displayed that went to he displ1b&hvá)hand then took t weapon b hid it, on a piece of private property, went to the building, had ammunition in the pocket. another child, went to an administrator or teacher. >> there is no indication that the boys had any plan to harm students or staff at the school. the gun was legally registered and secured with a gun lock. now in this case, the gun never made to it school, and was locked but to prevent more

scares and keep children safe, the baltimore county police department is urging people to keep the guns locked up. if you live in baltimore, visit any precinct and get up to 3 free gun locks, the police foundation donated $5000 to fund this program. for. the baltimore blast want to score a goal against bullying tool. they are holding a soccer festival in white marsh from 2:00 to 6:00 tomorrow afternoon, blast players will sign autographs and playing mini games and other activities for soccer fans and families, it's free to attend. the team is asking people to donate for daniel and his family. he was the victim of the perry hall high school shooting on the first day of school this year and the general manager of the blast says every penny the festival raise less go towards helping the family pay medical bills. >> it is in our backyard right now. we got to stop it and be able to put our arms around kids that are getting picked on and say, everything is going to be all right.

>> the blast will donate part of the proceeds from their home opener november 3rd. more trouble tonight for a local doctor we told you about during an abc 2 news investigation in to bad medicine. oscar ramierez had his license pulled for violating standards of care, two patient as at the clinic died following lengthy procedures. the florida board of medicine began looking in to ramirez because he is licensed there. he was given a fine and reprimand but allowed to keep his license. halloween is a few weeks away, you want to make sure your child has a cosassume they love but safe. the american academy of pediatrics warns parents to keep childrens costumes bright, really bright. that way they are visible even in the dark. put reflecters or tape on the costumes. it's important for children to with b able to see.
